1953 Bantam Books mass market paperback, first edition

This is a vintage used item, in good used condition, with some signs of age/wear; there is light rubbing to surface of covers, minimal edgewear and little associated corner wear/distress, wear along/about spine, light fading/smudging. Interior pages show clean, creamy-white, with sharp black typeset; little wear/light tanning. Spine remains straight/smooth, with minor shelfwear (top/base), while binding is still intact/secure and square-in-hand. There are no excessive nicks, chips, rips, tears, perforations, stains, residue or repairs.
